This breakdown of water versus air heat is fasinating. The thermal conductivity diffrence really makes sense when you consider how much harder it is to cool down in water. I've been using a traditonal sauna regularly but might reconsider after seeing these cardiac output numbers. The NK cell elevation 24 to 48 hours post imersion is particularly compelling for immune function.

Completely agree, fascinating data here. And I've observed that hot tubs (and definitely hot baths) are generally more accessible for people than saunas.
